Investigator Phil Dillon is the Business Services and Training Coordinator for the Trussville Police Department. With over 14 years law enforcement experience Investigator Dillon has served with the Birmingham and Moody, Alabama Police Departments.
BUSINESS SERVICES
In July of 2003, Investigator Dillon was assigned to the Department's Business Services and Training Division where he assumed duties as the Business Services Officer and Training Coordinator.
As the Department's Business Services Officer, Officer Dillon acts as a liaison between local businesses and the Police Department. Investigator Dillon is the primary investigator for all crimes involving local businesses. With the focus being on theft and fraud cases. He also assists in the arrest and prosecution of persons charged with Negotiating Worthless Negotiable instruments (bad checks).
Working in conjunction with the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce and local businesses, Investigator Dillon also arranges and conducts classes for business owners and managers. These classes include such topics as: how to avoid check fraud, robbery safety, and physical security of the premises.
