Notice of Interstate Closing
The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) has announced
that on Monday April 8, 2013 the east bound lanes of I-20 will be
closed from the I-20/I-59 interchange to I 459 for road repair.
I-20 East bound traffic going to ST. Clair County or Atlanta will be
required to take I-59 North to Exit 138 (I-459 So.) back to I-20 East.
Upon completion of the East bound lanes work will begin on the West
bound lanes and the above routes will be reversed.
These repairs are estimated to take 3 months.
PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR MAJOR DELAYS ON
I-59, I-459 AND U.S. 11DURING THIS TIME
